Echo 5 edge angle

There is no one angle used. I have done a lot of deferent grinds on Echo-5s, so It depends on the knife, the thickness of the blade and the hight of the grind.

Wicked Edge suggests that you consult the manufacturer’s documentation if possible. Otherwise use a marker to color in the bevel and observe how the stones remove the marker.
Thank you!

That is safe and good advice changing the edge angle a few genres will not hurt any thing. I am sorry I could dnot give you a better answer but with out seeing the knife I would struggle to give you a correct answer. How do you like the wicked edge?

The wicked edge is great but to get the correct angle you need to go to the highest grit stones first so you don't take off too much steel. It's very precise but worth the money. I still strop the knives with a regular strop for polishing.
Thanks for the help.
