I've handled the aluminum and titanium versions, really nice knives, just be warned they're pretty wide.

Thanks! Yes, it's certainly the most beautiful modern folder I own (though not necessarily the "best"). Not only the vibrant red (which I imagine will get its share of scratches with use), but also the lines and curves. I'm not a modern folder enthusiast in general. But this knife was one I had to purchase, and I'm glad I did. I'm not sure I'd want to pony up the simoleons for the titanium version - though I just might do so some day.

A bit under $400. Ouch!
I have a titanium........ Obsession. I just like a folder with some girth to it. The Lionsteel fits that build well.
Not seeing many around here has kept my impulse at bay, but the more I see them, the more my buying finger gets itchy.

Have you considered an Umnumzaan? I have both Sebenza (Insingo) and a Lionsteel (SR-1A), but my favourite Ti frame lock folder is my Umnumzaan. That said, I do want one of those new wharncliffe blade XM-18s...
