A few days after a different 5-year bad knife ordering experience was finally resolved, it's annoying to have to start another of these threads, but . .

I've never ordered from EDCLifestyle.com before, but they they appear to be a genuine outfit - they have their own YouTube channel and some good on-line feedback. I've no idea if they're active on BladeForums at all, but FYI, here's my recent experience:

- I placed an order for a knife on June 10, and my card was charged the same day. And then I heard nothing.
- After sending a few emails, I got an email back on June 20 saying that there was an issue because the delivery and billing address for the order didn't match, and I should have received an email about this earlier. After a short exchange of emails, they agreed to send it to the original delivery address, anyway.
- I received UPS tracking info on June 21. It showed that the label had been created, but the item had not been dispatched, but we all know that's perfectly normal in the first 24 hrs or so.
- A couple of days later, it was still showing the same thing, so I tried to get in touch again.
- 2 weeks have now gone by, the tracking info still indicates the package hasn't been dispatched, and I've had no response to emails, calls or texts.

I still hope to get this resolved, but if I don't hear more, I'll have to reach out to my CC company to try to claw back the charge.

Hope everyone had a good July 4th!

They seem to have a store front and phone number? They won't pick up the phone?

Man, that sucks. I am sorry you're dealing with this.

If you don't mind, can you share what you've ordered? I have a sneaking suspicion this is a drop-shipping outfit that holds no/minimal inventory

It was a MT knife in a variant that I specifically wanted which had been in stock at a couple of places, but they had the last one I could find. They don't strike me as a drop-shipper. They post regular drops on the site, including custom knives from the big shows.

I've tried a few times this week, but just goes to voicemail (no response to voice message or text). Probably a small operation, and perhaps the guy is away and this will get resolved later, but this comes after several unanswered emails.

I have only purchased from them once - so my sample size is quite limited - but the transaction went smoothly. They didn’t ship in record time (that honor seems to always go to DLT), it was the same; label created quickly, took a minute to actually ship.

They are legit though, esp as it pertains to Microtech.

My emails from them kept getting sent to my Spam folder however, are you experiencing the same?

Dien Nguyen (owner) is legit. He has a booth at BLADE. Bought an OTF via his site. He’s a presence on FB groups.

I sent Dien a message on FB linking this thread, he said he'd make contact and sort this out👍
