I'm French so it's no surprise that I own a Le Francais and L-08 Unfortunately I don't have a "Le Thiers". Maybe one day. But I do have a Chambriard Juniper Compagnon - sooo nice!

I know Perceval is located in Thiers - but to carry the name and to put the "Thiers" logo on a knife, a maker needs to follow procedures and standards. I also think the final product needs to be approved.

Very true my friend! To get Thiers logo requires a certain standards to be met. Most of the knives from any of the French regions are fantastic and you cant go wrong with any of them. So far, I have one La Thiers and 2 others.
