These Lev-R-Loc’s made for a great work carry user back in my days. Lost my straight edge durn a hunting trip and all I could find back then were the 1/2 serrated versions to replace it.

This 9” AB Stiletto was one of the very first knives I got when the collecting started, back in 2002. Still one of my favorites. Also brought along it’s smaller 4” sidekick as well.

A couple of Vox designs. The little fixed blade from MKM is awesome but what really surprised me was this new Pilar 3 in D2. I’ve not had a lot of good experiences with CRKT but this one is very, very well made. I really like it aesthetically and in use.

Adding this Chaves Ultramar Redención 229 tanto to the mix today.

It slots right into my "big three" that I've been focusing on this spring, but doesn't step on any toes. (This is day 66 for the XM-18 3.5, day 43 for the NeOn NL, and day 37 for the Husky. Still loving all of them!)

It has taken me at least a year to get used to the idea of the signature platypus skull pocket clip, then to realize that I kind of like it, and then to realize it's actually my style. It's been a journey!

Apparently the next generation of the 229 will ship with a non-skull clip installed and the skull clip in the box, so if you love everything else about the Chaves aesthetic you're in luck.
