My daughter liked my Izula II, so I gave it to her. We went backpacking this past weekend, her with the Izula and me with my White River Backpacker, and had a great time.
These knives are both excellent takes on the same basic format of small, lightweight fixed blade (Izula on the left, WRB on the right).
Now back in civilization, I've returned to the warm embrace of my PM2 -- and a bed that doesn't feature a prominent root under my back.
I think some of you are having an influence on me. I'm actually starting to carry two big knives at a time. Before I would just switch them out mid day, but now they are all riding on me. Super useful during work

Pyimba and Redwood Burls. Sealed with TruOil and once dry, ready to be sanded down to the surface then cloth wheel and wax. The finish should be in the wood, not on it
