EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I had planned to head down Cape to deliver some of the metal work I'd fabbed for my client and to measure for another door pan, but my wife wanted to go in the other direction and do our bulk shopping at BJ's so instead of a work user I grabbed my sweet nat Micarta large 31 and we headed out in the Charger. I'll get that other done tomorrow as we spent the rest of the day here with our son and his GF visiting for a few days....

Been meaning to try out the SAK MiniChamp for years, and needing to redo my keychain gave me the perfect excuse. Now my backup knife (or, sometimes, backup backup knife...) will be right next to my backup flashlight. 😂

I might audition the Alox Classic just for its vanishingly slim and light form factor, but so far I like this little tool-packed nugget.

The flashlight, a RovyVon Aurora A8, is pretty new (a replacement for a previous model of the same light), but the Steel Flame tag, the TEC Python clips, and the out-of-frame kaijin hook that lets me dangle the whole affair from a belt loop are a decade old. They've seen constant use, numerous drops, and a near-total disregard for their welfare on my part...and they're still going strong.

I hope in another ten years the MiniChamp, or whatever replaces it if I decide to shave weight, will still be on there with them, dinged up and well-loved.
