I can't seem to get this knife back in the drawer--it's been with me three days running now. It absolutely flew through a heavy cardboard box over in the shop this morning as if to prove its worthiness for longterm carry.

Thanks, ty_higg . I had another beautiful Shiro 100NS that had M390, blue ano'd liners, and custom marbled CF 3D scales, but this one in flat G10 and 440C has a real special appeal for me. That steel takes a wicked keen edge very easily, too--it has a great heat-treat as do all my Bears.

I agree the simple G10 and 440C just has a nice appeal in that form!

After I finished this I took it out to do some chopping, chops saplings very well, clean smooth slices. It's redwood burl from a small mill in Oregon.
