Cool G10 scale, custom or did you make that yourself? That mirror edge is impressive
The curse of putting together a big sale post for a bunch of knives is that sometimes I get one out and realize it perfectly lines up with my interests now, and it gets moved out of the to-sell drawer, LOL.
I'm not big into modded knives, but I picked this one up used some time ago and the original owner did a bang-up job on three well-thought out mods: sharpening choil, stonewashed ti scale, smooth OD micarta scale. The 0550 is such a great example of an old-school, pants-dragging ZT beast.
Thx. It’s a TAD Topo XM24 Skinny, came like that (not the edge).Cool G10 scale, custom or did you make that yourself? That mirror edge is impressive
Honestly, I've never used that knife. I sharpened it with my Wicked Edge and put it in the pile.
I bought the Gen 3 appr. 5 years ago and when it didn't "tickle my pickle" I sent it off to have the CF scale made.
The scale is probably 3/8 inch thick and though the knife as a whole is asymmetrical, it is very easy to grip when compared to the original grip. I also had the dude make matching lightning-strike plugs (X2) for the clip locations. Here is one installed.
It's an oddity. But, I'm a Reeves guy at heart.
I've not been able to see any of your pics. Both this and other posts. Just see an unclosed"IMG" tag. Not sure why
Wow, that is a cool knife, I didn't know the etching was all over. I also didn't know they made a XM24 skinny..... very interestingThx. It’s a TAD Topo XM24 Skinny, came like that (not the edge).
Absolutely beautiful. I’m beyond jealous.
That is a cool knife, Ive been looking for a 0560 to pop up on the forum but I haven't seen any good ones.
If that thing breaks, like mine always do, coping saw blades work really well and are often even cheaper.
Where’s the pooch or it didn’t happen
Pleasant sunday walk and photo shooting with the pooch
