Edge and Bevel Inspection during Sharpening

I am still a beginner in all of this but I have jumped fully into this new hobby. I have different things I do to inspect the edge and bevel as I sharpen my knives on my new WE system. I also used some of the same techniques on the KME that I have for aobut 6 months.

I thought some might benefit from a video on some of this stuff so today I got inspired. its about inspecting the edge with your eyes, a loupe, head magnifier and few different USB microscopes.

i use a 30x jewlers loupe i got off ebay and it was one of the best knife sharpening tools ive ever bought! it only cost $5 and it allows me to inspect the edge while sharpening to make sure i sharpen all the way to the apex as well as being able to tell when to move to the next lighter stone. the difference in my edge sharpness has been night and day, i highly recommend getting a loupe or something like the USB microscope. i have both but i use my loupe more
