Today I took delivery of a Hapstone angle cube, set about using it and confusion quickly ensued for me, here is why;
I zeroed the cube, on the surface you hold the knife against (the bit we all tape up).
Then, I placed the cube against the stone holder and had a play with the angle guide (black line = 10 DPS, red =15 etc). This is where the confusion began for me.
If black = 10dps (20 inclusive), why did the cube read 16 degrees?
I then tried red and got 24 degrees...
There's no way these numbers work out and I doubt the edge pro would have been manufactured so out of spec - what gives, am I missing something obvious here?
