Some of us don't want the inconvenience of resharpening after cutting 2 zip ties.
Maxamet is The One. Or ceramic, if you're not doing any cutting that will chip the edge. Maxamet, in independent rope cutting tests by Cedric ... Outdoors YouTube channel just blew everything else out of the water.
The bit about "it depends what you're cutting" is also a bunch of hoo-ha. Hard is hard, whether you're cutting aluminum, sisal rope or cardboard.
