Spark,

Can you do anything about the login's timing out when someone is editting a post? Several times since the new software went live, I've been editting a post, only to totally lose it when I tried to submit and get the login prompt because it timed out. I've tried the back button to get the text, even with a refresh/repost, and the message is gone. I really am tired of losing messages that I spend a goot bit of time writing. I've used Notepad a could of times, but it's an extra step that I don't think we should have to make.

Am I missing something somewhere, or is there anything that you can do?

Thanks,
Ray

That's a problem with the cookies on your system, not the software itself.

Somehow, someway, your cookies are not staying set, or are being corrupted. It could be some adware you are running, it could be something in your cookies.txt file. It could be another browser window you have open.

My recommendation? Anything really long you should type in notepad. Eliminates that problem altogether. In the meantime, if you have to login continually, you should think about blowing away your cookies and starting fresh.

Kevin
