Hello Folks. For a while we do not appear here. This probably happened because of my parallel career in the police. It is a pleasure to be here again.
I want to show you a Bowie I made in honor of the 25-year career of my friend Rodrigo Sfreddo. I know very well the taste of Rodrigo Sfreddo by knives and I know that he is in love with old Bowies in traditional styles.
So to honor him, I decided to manufacture a Bowie style that would please him. A gentleman knife, with blade measuring 11 inches and 1/4 in clip point design, English false edge, W Breeze damascus pattern with 700 layers.
The wide spacer and the knives typical of the time, it was made of damascus steel.
The handle is an attraction in itself. Made of stabilized English Walnut Burl, received a coffin handle, with octagonal cross section, which is for those who tried to do a huge challenge to achieve symmetry, machining precision and clean lines.
At the center of the handle, an ivory scutcheon, also very traditional in Bowies nineteenth century was inserted, which is surrounded by four domed pins.
Decided to nominate the knife Sfreddo's Way because Rodrigo is also rock climber and mountain climbing, when someone can climb for a never before achieved path, the climber earns the right to baptize him by the name he wants. And Rodrigo climbed some "mountains" that no one had ever climbed!
God blesses for all!
