What in the world is this knife supposed to actually accomplish ?

Edit : I did a search . Supposed to be a rescue tool with belt slitter , etc .

indeed it's a very specialized military knifetool.
just makes about everyone else go "yucks"!!!
The former Eickhorn management (now a rival company)
has a similar pattern but no tanto though.

Never heard about it. Looks funny and definitely not meant for daily tasks. What I also don't understand is to have so many points and edges in a tool that is meant to be used arround people (I understand the belt cutter is for safety belts?). I could be wrong.

Did you buy it for collection purposes? Duty? Or do you actually plan to use it? If so, what for?
