I saw one used in the movie "Killers" by Ashton Kutcher. I have been searching ever since to find out what type of knife it was. Now that I know what it is and who its made by I want it even more. Looking around on the internet I have discovered that this knife is a bit of a Unicorn. I would still like to find one. If anyone has any leads I would greatly appreciate it.

On a side note, If anyone knows how much a KACK would go for that would also be helpful.

Thanks

I was under the impression that Emerson made a knife especially for the movie. Looks to be like a CQC13 with the recurve of a 15.

There are a few forums on here that indicate that it was a special edition knife and was talked about for some sort of knife show. I did a search for Emerson KACK on this website and a thread discussing the movie came up. There was a guy selling one on here in 2009 I believe as well. The knife in his pictures has a different grip from the one in the movie.

Stands for Kick Ass Combat Knife according to Mr. Emerson a few years ago at BLADE Show.

My understanding, there are only very few.

I know someone that has basically them all. the protype like seen in the movie with black G10, a one and only custom in the standard type deal with micarta and stuff. and a "snake bowie" which is basically the same knife that Emerson made customs years ago, with a slightly diffrent grind to it.

Anf ther is the one in the movie which to my understanding still belongs to Aston Kutcher.

There may be another or so probally still in possesion by Mr.Emerson as he typcially makes between 3-5 prototypes and keeps at least one for himself.

Oh and yes that is Correct, it stands for "Kick Ass Combat Knife"

I saw the first one available in an Emerson lottery go a few years back at the BLADE Show in Atlanta.

I have one for sale if anyone's interested.

The KACK looks great even if kack means something not so nice in German
Somehow that makes it even cooler and a fun conversation piece.
Now I just need to find a place where I can buy one. :)

Great... A new grail knife! Love the size of it. Going to have to put in on some overtime gigs now. I'm sure it isn't going to come at friendly price.
