Emerson serial numbers??

Hey Suspects,
Questions about Emerson serial numbers.

Do the serial numbers start all over again each new year or
are they continuous from when the production model starts??
Hope I splained that right!!;)

All production Emersons have serial numbers, correct???

They start with 001 when production begins. Previously, they ended with 999 (I think), but I believe Derek said they were going to serial number ALL production knives now. John should be able to shed more light on the subject...

Welp, my 2001 Mini-CQC7b says "056" ...

When did the Mini-CQC7b start production? 1999? 2000? 2001?

I have a feeling it's not a numbered 056 "original production" -- so perhaps as of late the numbering starts all over with a new year?

The mini-7 started production in 2001. You do indeed have #056 in that particular variation.
