Offering a few pieces here at bargain prices. Sale opens when I make my next post in here, so needless to say those who are subbed to the thread will be the first to know. Sale closes 11:30 pm EST Saturday November 20.

Good afternoon friends! Here is a mix of old and new. Like a typical thread in the exchange, I'll assign priority to the first "I'll take it" with regard to a given knife. Each knife has it's own post #. I will post them one at a time, since I can only put up to ten photos per post. First knife incoming in just a few more minutes.

Combined shipping will be offered, each additional knife purchased after the first will receive a $15 discount.

First knife is in thin 3/32"15N20, a high toughness carbon steel with good corrosion resistance (for a carbon steel). Textured G10 handle, one of my earlier examples. Zero ground scandi edge. Will serve well as a meat slicer, or small trail knife.

Price on this one is withdrawn.

Next, this one is 420 stainless. Don't be fooled by the "cheap steel", 420 stainless only has a "bad reputation" because it has low wear resistance. This camp fighter is extremely corrosion resistant, and also extremely tough. In real world use (from my own testing, and the testimony of a friend who purchased another one of these from me), you might have a hard time distinguishing the performance of this steel from H1. In this design (camp/fighter), tough and corrosion resistant is exactly what you want, along with ease of sharpening, which it also has.

Note: I reclaimed the steel from another knife and changed it to a completely different design.

Extreme slicing at your finger tip. 15N20, Micarta handle, with terotuff bolster and G10 liners. Terotuf tends to get dirty, and is hard to clean, but this knife will be like a precision scalpel for you.

Prevail in 8670 steel, another high toughness and low corrosion resistance carbon steel. Of course, being carbon steel, it is still not as corrosion resistant as stainless, but you shouldn't have to baby it like, say, O1 or 1095. This one is in 1/8" stock with a high and thin saber grind. This knife will slice exceptionally well, but also has significant toughness. Would serve as an excellent hard use EDC, or last ditch line of defense. Green and black Suretouch gives this Prevail the most comfortable and secure handle on one of this model yet, and I think the forge scale gives it a ton of personality.

I did an experiment in handle theory I think about a year ago. The execution was not perfect, but I think I did alright for a first attempt. I call is the U.S.A. (universal slicing apparatus, because I am a big nerd when it comes to naming stuff). The blade is from 3/32" 15N20, with a comfortable and unique G10 and Micarta handle. Cancel culturists might want to pass on this one. ;)
