Got two Enduras, one FRN in vg-10, one aus6 SS. Why does the vg-10 blade have a wedge shape grind and the SS has a hollow grind? Oh yeah why is the vg-10 blade almost 1/4 inch longer than the aus6? Don't get me wrong I love 'em both but they could almost be considered different models.

Hi Yobbos1. We changed the grind of the FRN model from hollow to flat to provide more tip strength when we were using ATS-55. When we switched to VG-10, we just kept the flat grind on the model. The AUS-6 version has not had a tip strength problem. Also, I think ELUs beat up the FRN version harder in everyday use.
