I think this combo is one of the easiest and most affordable cooking sets you can find. It's not the best or the lightest, but cheap and easy. Let me know what you guys think.

I've used Esbit stoves before, but found them more limited than alcohol stoves, which are also "cheap and easy". Esbit makes alcohol stoves of the type I'm referring to, as well. Trangia is the classic maker, though.

I agree, though, that I've never needed the more expensive canister-style stoves, or other expensive models.

I have used that combo now for a couple of years. I add pencil sized sticks to the fuel tab once it's gets going.

Great job on the video ! Nice editing.

I find the Batchstovez 1.0 to be a perfect stove for the Stanley Pot. The stove and DIY windscreen nest easily in the pot, along with a single mug. Perfect for solo use.

Or, swap the big heavy Stanley mugs for lighter, de-handled Open Country cups for a tea set for 4.
