ESEE-5 vs ESEE-6

How will the 5 work for skinning/butchering?
Never done skinning with it.
But it wont have a problem doing that.Butchering won't be a problem for sure(he he).
If you have no problem with its weight ofcourse.
It is sharp enough .

My first posts were showing my support of the ESEE-6
and especially the clip point version(personal preference).
The 6 is tough enough for most tasks.
Though the 5 is tougher. Not a better slicer.
You can hack through bones etc. with it.
Or Noss' (knifetest.com)concrete blocks too i guess.
:p

I have an izula ii that seems like it would work good for smaller/finer tasks than the 5 probably.

For the poster about zombies, if I were looking to fight zombies, I might look more at the microtech crosshair. My idea of knife fighting, its better to use a pistol.

Yes, the Izula will probably be better for smaller tasks.
I like the ESEE-3 for that.

Better to use a pistol than a knife ,agreed. It's better to bring a gun to a knife fight,i know ,i know.
It's even better not to be in that situation.

But for me,for me (!)..

It would be a bit boring to only collect knives with a 'political correct' look.
With a not tacticool look.
I like the clip point a lot.Like on the Tops Moccasin Ranger.
Looks nice.

What's wrong with a false edge.
Stabbing things is fun anyway.Cardboxes ,wood etc.

But for the fighting of Zombies.
The microtech crosshair is cool looking definitely.
But the Junglas chops those UgLy HeAdS clean off ,or in two halves, depending on ones preferences.
And you can keep a little distance at the same time.
Nice thing about the Junglas is you dont have to carry a whole load(how do many call it?a shitload?) of bullets with it.
