So I want to get an ESEE 6 (plain edge, no swedge, no serrations) to keep my Junglas company. Should I just get the plain jane black and tan? or the venom green and orange G10? I'm really leaning towards the green and orange. Anyone got any pictures of there's? How does the green coating look as it starts to fade? Any pics in general? Thanks!

Go for the green and orange. They look cool as hell, and not a chance of it ever getting lost! The coating wears just like all the other Esee coatings. Since you have the Junglas, you should have a good estimation of how that goes.

You'd never lose sight of the green and orange version but neither will people around you :)

not a fan of the venom green.... my vote is for black or one of the limited tan colored blades if you can find one for sale.

Not a huge fan of my knives being overly colorful. However, the upside is that you'll be hard pressed not to find it in the woods should you lose it. So, if that is your reasoning or if you like it, go ahead.

Off topic
However, the ESEE6 is a bit big to accompany your junglas innawoods. Especially since the Junglas can do everything that the 6 can do and more. Usually, I bring the Junglas and my ESEE3mil. But I also swap the 3 for a MT, folder, or some 4 inch blade w/ neck knife

It's an unasked opinion, but if I were pairing something with a Junglas, I'd go much smaller. I would think Izula II or something similar. Anything much bigger in the ESEE line and you're essentially going to have something where anything it could do, the Junglas could do also.

I guess I was thinking more of a knife to be an alternative to the Junglas, when I didn't feel like carrying such a big blade but wanted a lot of capability, not so much a knife to carry at the same time as a complement. Hm.. maybe I need an ESEE 6 and an Izula II, ESEE 3, or 4.

Ah, well then that changes my opinion, and it is duly withdrawn as I had misunderstood the situation. Given this new information, I'd think that any of the smaller ESEEs would be fantastic take-along-insteads. Me personally, I'd get the Venom green. You don't see 'em every day, and it's just a neat color. I don't really go in for the whole "Zombie hunter" thing (which that color usually denotes), but I just love the color in person.

No problem, I wasn't that clear in asking my question. It was a good point though.

That green and orange really is a striking color combo. I suppose if I ever decide it's too much flair, I can sell it or strip it down. Thanks for the replies guys, it's given me a lot to think about.
