I compiled photos and info on it and made a video to share the info.

ESEE's kephart has a sabre grind vs the full flat grind of the original kephart. IF anyone's going to blade show, they'll have a prototype there.

I tend to agree with you but, couldn't they be smoothed out, a bit at a time with some fine grit sandpaper to your personal liking? I say a bit at a time because you can always take away but never add back. :)

Yup. The handle on that kephart looks brutal. And the reason I love my Junglas is because it is so big. I'm sure some folks will get lots of use out of these, just not me.

The 8-inch Camp knife slot has some great selections. Glad to see another.

Those sculpted handles need to get smoothed out before I would consider it for use.

I have a Winkler Belt Knife with similar sculpted handles and it really is much more comfortable than it looks. Could be the case with the ESSE as well.

I'd say take some emory cloth and go at like you were shaping a new set of slabs on a knife. Wrap the blade, then chuck it up in a vise. Personalize that sucker.
Those bumps are just minor speed bumps that could be smoothed out a tad, a little at a time.

First off, that Junglas II looks interesting, but I i feel like the point of the Junglas is to be a big chopper. But I guess it does bridge the gap in their product line between the ESEE 6, CM6 and the full sized Junglas.
The was an vacuum in the product line between the 6" knives, and then bumping up to the Junglas at nearly 10 inches.

Now, one new ESEE knife that I am actually very excited about and haven't heard hardly anything about is the CL1.
