Esee?......... Or Rat?.......

So, both ESEE and RAT knives are made by Rowan, right?
Are they exactly the same other than laser engraving?
Handles, grinds, coatings, etc all identical?

The knives branded as RC-3, RC-4, RC-5, etc. & ESEE-3, ESEE-4, ESEE-5, etc. and that have ROWEN on the blade are made by Rowen and warrantied by ESEE.

The knives marked as RAT-3, RAT-5, RAT-7 are made by Ontario and warrantied by Ontario.

The RAT knives are similiar, but different from the RC/ESEE knives. Some of the differences will be blade steels, size (RC/ESEE-3 is 3/8" longer than the RAT-3) and warranties. ESEE gives a full no questions asked warranty. Ontario does not.
