Hi guys,

I am getting rather frustrated at having no luck on finding the right paracord locks.
The ones I buy on ebay are either too small or too big and almost none of them lock firmly

The best (and unfortunately the only one) lock I have is the one that came with my Esse 6 knife. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find some of those?

your help is greatly appreciated!

Instead of eBay or Amazon, I recommend that you try one of the outfits that makes selling paracord its primary business, or at least an important section of it's business. I also see some outfits specifically advertising paracord locks, Google is your friend... IF you scroll past the eBay and Amazon links,

Yeah. I just had a hunt and the cord outfitters have them. Military shops have them.

And they seem up there $5 so hopefully they are good.(I didn't check the size. Just eyeballed it. They have people you can speak to anyway)

Then do yourself a favour and google grenade cord lock.

And, if I might add, this applies to every single thing.

Look for ITW, ITW Nexus as brands. There are some tent repair supply shops and Hammock DIY shops and similar that will carry high grade ones.

Hard to go wrong with Titanium.

Find the brand name and buy that brand from the common places. Nexus ITW brand are the best I know of, they make most of that stuff along with the buckles for webbing for the military.
