I ran across this set of Estwing and I’m curious if anyone has any idea on the value. It looks fun and I’m a sucker for new old stock. I’ve never owned Estwing, and I don’t want to over pay for it. It’s not the best pic.

No clue on the value, but think it's from the 80's maybe considering the EKA knife.
Later sets I see came with a rebranded 90's Camillus / western model 66 knife.

I would think the older set should be worth more.

What is the price being asked ?

It’s at a small local auction house. Could go for $5, could go for $500 depending on who’s bidding. Knives sometimes go for well above retail, and sometimes they end up being given away. I don’t normally bid on something unless I have a good idea of the value and I have no clue on this one. It looked interesting and it’s NIB so I figured I’d throw the question out and see if anyone can help me out.

that hatchet is still in production today. It sells in the $40 to $45 range. I doubt the knife is still in production. I see similar knives by Ka-Bar and Case in the $50 to $80 range. Is it worth more because it comes in a set? And if so, how much more?

O.B.

I guess that’s the unknown - if it have any added value as a set. Thanks for the info on the hatchet. I’ll see what it goes for and maybe I’ll come home with them.

I don't think being mayb 40 years old adds any value to the hatchet since current examples are identical.

The knife is no longer made in any form I don't belive, but I don't expect them to be that well known here in the US which would effect it's value

I would personally not want to spend more than $100 for it, hopefully you can get it relatively cheap.
