Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Ordered it directly from SBD earlier this week. I think they might have a few available.
I kinda wanted a drop point with micarta but was too slow.

Yeah, he's got two of the American Tanto variants left. Tried one on a full-size Evo Typhoon awhile back and, while Reate's grinds are definitely pretty and the tanto shape is sleek, it just never felt right with the design. American Tantos never feel proper on anything high-end for me personally as I won't ever beat on them like I would a Cold Steel, for example, with which I can stab material with reckless abandon :)

@ChazzyP just moved the rain maker up on my list

I have a few things on their way and a few more deposits out. I waiting for those flipper tab delete Ariuses to drop. Hopefully nothing else catches my eye, I’ve been spending too much money recently after doing so well the first quarter of 2020. But now my wife is encouraging my bad behavior. She’s currently being more supportive of my more expensive endeavors than budget ones past.

My mom gave me this for my birthday..turning 50 tomorrow May 15th.
She ordered it from a French catalog she said, sent from France. My first slip joint of this size and my first French knife!
From my mom of 82 years, I will love this knife for ever.

Nice knife and even nicer story behind it! I love the pattern and have two of their knives - both in blonde horn. Happy b’day and use it well!

P.S. I’m just a few months behind you.

Eta: Took a quick and dirty pic. While technically not new acquisitions I haven't posted them before so it still counts.:p Couldn’t decide which I liked better so in the ole BFC tradition I got both.:D

I really miss, being able to call & talk to my mom every day.....treasure every single second that you're blessed to spend with your mom. <3

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY!!!

As I had posted previously a few days ago, I logged into the exchange at the perfect time, & scored a super awesome looking (IMO), Zaan, from one of the really super awesome upstanding member's here- pwcvincent (Chris). It arrived today.
I knew I was going to like this one, but it's exceeded all expectations. Better yet, it's a user that came with nothing extra, & has no CRK warranty, so I won't have any problem actually carrying & using this one.
The Umnumzaan, will always be, my all-time favorite CRK, with one of the coolest blade designs ever.

Yeah it's a nice piece, I'm not going to pretend it's not a bit pricey over here for what it is but it's well built, certainly seems as strong as any friction folder would ever need to be, and half a dozen strokes on a strop and it was hair popping sharp. I like it.

Super awesome of your mom and Happy Belated Bday!

Got my first Shiro flipper in route and I haven't been this excited since my first sebenza! Hati on washers in seashell CF and s30v! It has all the specs I prefer in a larger EDC with an FFG 3.9" thinly ground blade, 8.75" overall, and a solid CF show slab w milled pattern for grip which affords only 4 oz and under a half inch thick so should carry very well for the size. Super happy to be acquiring this!!

First up, two Carothers Performance Knives Utility Fighters. These are CPM3V with Nathan Carothers' Delta protocol heat treat on the CPM3V. Blades are 6", overall 10.8%. The bottom one has tri-color rag micarta handle scales, and the top one is antique edge-cut micarta over black micarta.

Second is this dealer-exclusive Paramilitary 2 with an Emerson wave in S30V with black G10 handle scales.

And third is this Alan Folts custom harpoon Minimalist in black G10 and black Gunkoted CPM154.
