Been doing my due diligence to stay away from knives made in China of late, but a couple weeks ago I saw a box of these little Mora/Marttiini style gems in a big box store w/ no name, no stamp, no steel, listed for $2.98, and so I snagged one up as my new water knife to take with on a tubing trip down the local river...

Gotta say, for $3 it definitely earned it's keep... might go buy a dozen of 'em for <$40 to give out as christmas gifts this year...
If I had to guess I'd say 3cr13? Maybe, at best, 5cr14Mov? Takes an edge, just doesn't hold it well... Either way, it handled the task of being a spare, usable, fully capable throw away knife for days on the river...
