Full 15 minute video showing angler Ty Kleeb of Pig Patrol and Henry Martin of SharkBaitTV and Catching Dinosaurs Guide Service landing what just may be the biggest alligator gar caught and released on YouTube. She went 90 inches (7 foot 6 inches) and was over 200 pounds.

This is by far the largest alligator gar i have seen fought up close and the experience was humbling. We found her on an undisclosed river in Texas and returned her to her river successfully after a few pictures unharmed after about a 20 minute fight. This gar could easily be over 60 years old and i will never forget being in her presence. She is a true prehistoric dinosaur who's species has survived for 147,000,000 years unchanged since the Cretaceous period.

What a beast! Congratulations. I like how you caught it on an undisclosed river in Texas. Sounds like my brother when he shows a picture of a big trout he caught.
