I was looking for some tactical knives in my country and found these. I m curious to hear the opinion of those who have way more knowledge than i do. Are these fake? The first one seems so,at least to me.

I have also found a nice emerson. What do you think?

The Emerson seems real. Is it worth the price?
I would appreciate your opinion.

That "Halo" is fake as hell

The obvious tell is that the blade says it's a Halo 5

The body is from a Halo 6

They're all definitely fake. But, that doesn't necessarily mean they're not functional knives.

I was impressed by the amount of abuse this counterfeit Microtech took before failure (nearly as much as the real one, though both withstood way more than I'd expect from any OTF)

The main issues with the cheaper OTFs are: 1) the chassis made from cast zinc ("pot metal") rather than machined aluminum, and 2) the locking sears not being hardened, both of which make them less durable than what you'd get from a reputable manufacturer.

Thank you lads. As i thought, they are all fake. Some items he sells seem really close to the original. That must also mean that the prices are really high for what they are,no? I m not really intrested in buying, just curious.

Some of the fakes are not made of zinc alloy, but are made of aluminum and are almost exactly like the real thing ( weight / size).

Only a trained eye can tell the difference because the fraudsters will typically mix up model numbers and blade markings. Also they include a take down tool and Micotech doesn't
They also make color combinations that Microtech never offered.

I see them at flea markets all the time, same for BM Infidels. Had a dealer swear they were all real and I knew they weren't because the prices were too low ($100).
Almost wanted to buy one just to post pictures of a fake Infidel, but I thought better of the idea.
