Looks good to me. If I recall directly my S110 PM2 had an engraving or stamp or something around the pivot that you only see on disassembly

Looks good from the picture. Gimping is right. Markings look right.

Lanyard tube looks correct. Is this lanyard tube bigger than your old one?

Thx for the reply, but the Lanyard tube on PM 2 S110V is not Flare and thin compared to my older PM 2 S30V , the logo is slightly different on the clip and on the blade , to clarify what i mean , ive link the pictures above the reply comment .

It’s real from what I can tell. None of the fakes I’ve seen have the correct jimping.

M mickeymouse123 now that I see it next to the other pm2, I do see a lot if differences. The spyder logo, the pocket clip and yes the lanyard tube look off. Even how the blade sits in the handle looks off. But pictures can be deceiving. Maybe more people will chime in with opinions.

I'm inclined to think "fake" just because it came from Singapore. The only way I know to be certain is to send it to Spyderco for inspection and verification.

It looks legit to me. It looks like someone took off the scales. Would explain the lanyard tube and all the chips in the G10
The cause of the chip was due to my own mistake , i dropped it on the concrete floor , that is why theres a chip near the lanyard tube.

Hi Mr Jack, its not that i dont want to send it to Spyderco for inspection, Its because i live in Malaysia and theres no authorized Spyderco Dealer here and i fancy Spyderco Knives that is why i try to buy it in Singapore . Btw , im paying retail price for all the knives ive purchased, if i were to send it to Spyderco it would involve a lot of hassle from the local authorities like the local custom and it cost a lot for shipping it to the USA , thats is why i need expert's opinion from all of you who love knives . TQ.

the logo placement might the one thing that makes me think twice, not the etching type. Depending on the blade metal I've seen many different etching looks.
Also the pivot screw looks like it's really loose compared to your other. you loosen that?

I understand the difficulties of international shipping and the expense in both money and time involved. The problem is, the fakes keep getting better all the time, so it keeps getting harder to tell from a few pictures whether a given knife is genuine or not. Without having it in hand, I doubt that Sal himself could say with 100% certainty that it is genuine.

I did not meddle with any of the screws thats on the knife .it came like that .

I can tell it’s real just by looking at the jimping and the way the edge bevels terminate at the ricasso. That looks literally exactly like all the PM2s I’ve bought over the last year or so, and that’s aboit 20 of them.

If that’s a fake, then these people deserve an award for attention to detail for even copying spyderco’s new machine sharpening process.

The jimping on the spine makes me think it is real. That is usually a dead give away for a fake. The real Spyderco jimping goes over the thumbhole like a set of stairs climbing a hill. The fakes have jimping that points more straight up like ^^^^^

Does it take 4 times longer than s30v to sharpen? I can guarantee that fakes are not made from s110v, so if it’s already sharp test the steel to see how long it holds a cutting edge. If the seller has a very good rating over the years it’s a sign they are more likely to be honest. People living in Singapore would likely have no problem getting either the real thing or a counterfeit, as we do in the states. From what I can see it looks legit, but from the lighting I can’t tell if the spyder logo, and the rest of the markings on the blade, have a lighter hue when reflecting direct light.
