Falcon knives???

Anyone know anything good. bad, or indifferent about Falcon knives? Apparently an Italian brand. The website I found had a PDF of their catalog.... from 2008. So not really active in their marketing.

Still I found their Ellipse to be interesting, at least in the looks dept. and still available.
Anyone have any experience with them?

I bought one of their folders a while back, a lockback with a standard blade and a secondary saw blade - just because I'm into that pattern. Was not happy with it. While the knife was affordable, the finish & function were quite poor - worse than China-made knives in the same price category.

I have this lingering suspicion that the Italians just don't have an interest in knives.

I got some MacCoteley (sp) and some Fox and Ferrari they weren't. As is, they just vanished.

I had a few as well and, yeah, not impressed. Poor fit and finish.
