The knife is like new; however, it has been carried a half dozen times and used for a few light-duty cutting and food prep. I can't tell that the edge has degraded in any way. There are no apparent signs of any wear, scuffing, or scratching on any part of the knife or sheath. The knife comes with all factory packaging.
