SOLD pending funds
Falx sword (the swords that were used by dacians in the Roman Wars), forged by the german bladesmith Achim Wirtz from 5160 steel. Mint codition, as received from Achim.
The OAL is 35 1/2" and the blade 22 1/2".
The sword is very light and fast, it weights only 1kg (2.2 lbs). The blade has a full convex grind, very nicely done and the convex edge is shaving sharp.
The handle is wallnut. It comes with a leather sheath that can be used for belt carry or shoukder carry if you have a "harness" (SP). The price is $old.
Shipping to the USA is $40 regular french priority mail, fully insured (no tracking) or $100 express mail fully insured and with tracking. Other destinations contact me for a quote.
I prefer to sell because I have to raise money to cover what I spent on other knives, but I might consider trades if they are really nice.
Here are some pics, click on them for big size.
