Sorry for that internal dialogue. That sheath is just beautiful, and the more pics I see of the farm knife, the more I want one. Thanks for sharing those, even if it means I now am compelled to come up with an excuse for making the purchase
Great pictures, thank you. Could you give me the specs on the knife? (Or the DOTD link?) Is that satisal wood? I like this style handle, and even though the blade is the same, have to say I don't care for the handle at all on the knife in the "farmcata" thread. The underside of the handle there looks very poorly done for some reason...

Norm - The knife is approximately 17" OA, 11" blade, and is 5/16" thick. I believe it is the satsial wood. The fit and finish are similar to other HI products, functional and tough...
