The 2" folder is currently, my favorite sized blade. It drops into the pocket (or coin pocket even) easily, and does everything I need it to, as an every day carry.

My favorite 2" folders have been a Kershaw Chive, Benchmade Benchmite, and Spyderco SS Cricket.

Now, I've added a pair of new 2" folders, the Imp, from Nemesis Knives. These knives came extremely well done. With titanium liners, finely finished wood handles, and mirror polished blades that were as sharp as anything I've seen. The fit and finish are excellent.

Here they are (except the Chive):

What are your favorite 2" blades?

My favorite 2 1/2 inch folders are my Atwood Solar Arc, Patrick Nihiser "Little Teaser", and Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper "Gecko".

Recently got a Spyderco Native I ... with S30V and like it very well. Would like to get the Native II... or III ...

My Favorite small,2", knife is the spyderco polliwog. It is a small knife that doesn't feel small in the hand, has good steel VG-10, and has typical spyderco fit and finish. And the ball bearing lock is just cool.

I am amazed at how nice the lava is and how well it cuts. My new favorite small knife.

Ditto on the Spyderco Polliwog. A lot of cutting power. Doesn't alarm people either when you pull it out because it doesn't look like a knife. One of my favorites for EDC at work.

Fishwatcher, would you happen to have a picture of the Chive and Benchmite side by side?

I'm interested in getting the Benchmite II (I and II are same size), but I'm also looking at the Chive, so I want to see which is bigger.

My two favourites are the Spyderco Cricket and Kiwi. I'd really like to get one of William Henry's smallest Titans as well.

What is the 3rd one down with the brown wooden handles please? It looks stunning.Where do I get one? How much in dollars or euro?An excellent pocket-rocket!

I like the new Lava by Spyderco a lot. Greatest little blade I've bought in years.

If I might answer for fishwatcher, the third knife down is an Imp, by Nemesis Knives. If I remember correctly, you can get them from True North Knives and they run about $100.00 US.

The 2nd and 3rd knife down in my pictures above are indeed The Imp, by Jeff Hall's Nemesis Knives [http://www.nemesis-knives.com/imp.html]. They really are very nice as I've said. The 2nd one is in Ebony with blue anodized titanium liners and the 3rd one down is in Bocote with brass color anodized titanium liners. The action on both are smooth, but different from each other (one is much lighter then the other, but both seem secure enough.) They come with black leather pouches.

Here are a few more pic's of the one in Bocote.

Habit.. Unfortunately I no longer have a Chive. I lost it years ago.. but really liked that knife. For me, it's like the value version of the Benchmite Auto, since it has an assisted opening feature. If I remember correctly, I think that the Chive might be thickest of the three. It, like the Cricket, is a frame-lock knife. An excellent value, and a fun knife.

Rugbymatt.. thanks for posting pic's of the Poliwog. Is it a pretty low-riding knife when clipped? That's one feature of the Cricket that I really like.

:( Thanks anyways.

I think I will go ahead and get the Benchmite II (I wouldn't feel comfortable paying $100 for a small knife in way of the Auto Benchmite or The Imp; would be too worried that I would lose it).
