Spyderco Favorite Spyderco Lightweight for EDC?

If you had to pick one for true EDC, which would it be? Factory offerings only.

I ran out of choices before I listed them all, so just chose other if you don’t like the ones listed.

Definitely Para 3 lightweight. It has all the signature Spyderco features packed in one: strong but flickable compression lock, comfortable wire clip, light frn with bidirectional grip, and tall slicey blade.

Para 3 lightweight has been my favorite for a few years, but recently I got a Spyopera and it’s about the same weight and I like it more

For me it’s close between the Centofante and Delica. I went with Delica, sold my 2 Centofante’s because they ended up with side to side play unless the pocket clip was oriented for tip down carry. And the pivot was non adjustable.

Was gifted a set of Delica scales from Boomer52, and carry this Delica when I want a smaller locking knife. It’s the perfect size for that, and locks up solidly. Had it with me when my baby was born. And bought him one for when he’s old enough.

Just one favorite? Manix 2 LW for me. As a bonus it comes in translucent (frcp vs. frn thing perhaps?). Can't wait for the promised Magnacut version

The Para3LW does come close though, and in fact lately gets more pocket time

That's a great photo of the Manix! Can't tell if your Para 3 is mint M4 or teal S90V; if it's teal then I have the same variant.

My only Spyderco is a Para 3LW. It's not what I usually grab, but I wouldn't be unhappy to EDC it, either. It's a good knife.

Thanks! I wish I could claim some expertise or skill but it was just pure serendipity that the camera picked up that prism effect in the light that matched the knife and the water

And yep, it's the S90V teal. So glad I grabbed this version. I hit it with some tropical teal rit for a fade dye job.

I have been carrying a Pacific Salt 2 every day for a month or two when out and about, because the knife fits a horizontal belt sheath so well, and my forefinger fits the nook between Spydie Hole and the handle so well. On the farm, I carry a Salt 2 because it has a better pocket clip. Both are fully serrated. I generally prefer compression locks, but the only fully serrated blade I have with a compression lock is the Caribbean Salt, which does not fit any good belt sheath that I have and is not as comfortable in a pocket; also it's the ugliest knife I have ever seen.

I just purchased a LW Delica4, LW Manix2, and a PM3 in G10. My immediate favorite is the Manix2 though I like all three.
