I agree about the Black Ash burl on that Gaucho. The Brown Maple Burl on that Bushboot looks really nice too.

Yeah, that's the best looking Gaucho I have ever seen I wish I could afford it. If you end up with it I may like to borrow it for a shot in the calendar project. I gave up on the idea of doing a dedicated Fiddleback Forge version of this project last year when everything turned upside-down again for the second year in a row, as there is just no way I can even find the right 13 plus Fiddlebacks I want for this project much less afford them under my current financial circumstances. But I do have most of the calendar lined up now with various makers being willing to donate a knife of my description from their line for it And I have several shots of my old Esquire that are useable for this project, and that actually suits Bilbo's personality in my opinion so no worries if you don't get it.
