Most of yall know we were devastated by Hurricane Helene last September
Here's my 2021 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab just found today! (We lost all our vehicles but, although totally destroyed we knew where they were- not so with my truck until today)

I have seen natural disasters and am always surprised by the damage. Intellectually, I understand that it's literally meteric tons of water involved in a flood... it's just mind bending how much force comes into play in something so "normal" as a bunch of water.

I also should have said: thank god you guys are ok. I lived in NC for a couple of years and can't go back to all those hurricaines. Respect to that Carolinian stubbornness.

Unbelievable destruction! I knew a guy once who lost his large metal outbuilding with all of his tools in it to a tornado. All that was left was a concrete slab and nothing was ever found. He (and his insurer) assumed the tornado dumped all of it into the Missouri river.
