It took me awhile to dial everything in but I'm really happy with where I've ended up. My goal for having a keychain with helpful tools required somewhat to be budget-minded but also to have functionality that I don't have with the other items I normally carry in pocket, and couldn't weigh a ton. There is some redundancy on purpose which I will explain.

1. Olight P1 - replaced a Leatherman squirt PS4 that I was very disappointed they discontinued. I wanted I multi-tool to be somewhat redundant with the full size multi-tool I carry daily.

2. Exotac firestarter - I do carry a Zippo with butane insert but I like the idea of having flint as a backup

3. Olight prybar- I did not have any pry tools. It's made out of titanium. I really like the anodizing. It's been pretty solid for minor prying and tape cutting

4. Titaner titanium toothpick - I would never actually use this on my teeth. It gives me goosebumps when metal touches my teeth, but I figure it is extremely pointy and sharp able to make holes that a pocket knife would not be able to detail enough.

5. WE knives Syrinx pen - bolt action pen broke quickly, this one is nice and tough and writes very nicely.

How did I do? Any pics of your set up would be cool!

I’m ultra minimalist in BladeForums standards. My keyring consists two keys, titanium split ring, titanium dangler from Handgrey and Fox Vulpis in titanium. Vulpis also is my actual EDC knife as well. I don’t like carrying anything bulky and if I do it’s in my jacket pockets during colder seasons.

Serious question. What specifically do y’all use your little pry bars for? And don’t say for prying. 😁
Besides keys, the only thing on my keychain is a little flashlight, which has been used quite a few times.
I tried a little SAK and it got so grimy it was useless. The scissors wouldn’t work anymore and the toothpick fell out. My two favorite items.

Not sure it is perfectly set up but am appreciating what it does have. Flashlight, titanium razor knife and a “pry” bar tool that has multiple other functions. IMG_0003.jpeg

Used mine today to lever open (You said, "don't say pry") a can of acetone.

I split my keys and min-tools into two locations. One part clipped to my belt, the other in my pocket.

Ha. That’s a good reason. I use to paint a lot and have a bunch of paint can openers that I got for free from Sherwin Williams laying around.
The little pry bars look so cool. I’ve always wanted one, but never could justify needing one.
What’s the one you have? Looks pretty handy. Is that a SAK Classic next to it?

Cheapy Nite-ize "DoohicKey" tool I got at a big box hardware store. It's inexpensive and I find it to be handy and worth what I paid for it. It will cut through tape and has an edge I can use as a large screw driver.

But for opening standard round paint cans an actual paint can opener works better because it's hooked and there is less chance of it damaging the can lid. (I have a number of those because I used to work in a paint lab.)

The SAK is a Rambler, a classic with an added tool, can opener Phillips head combo.

I like this setup. Looks like handgrey doesn’t sell that dangler anymore. :(

They have multiple uses. Within the last few days I've used it to pry open an Oculus quest 2 controller, open a beer, and scrape off the fish tank creep that builds up.

Knarfeng mentioned opening packages as well. Keep your knife from getting all funky. I’m sure it will come in handy once I start carrying it.

Careful with the prybars. Had a LE buddy explain they could be viewed as "burglary tools".

Only an issue if you are doing something suspicious when stopped, such as creeping around the back of somebody else's house and they call the police. Since none of us is going to be in that situation, it's a nonissue. I've had conversations with officers with my mini-bar in plain view and they didn't fuss about it.

I carry a number of small keychain sized items, but they go in my pocket organizer since I don't like keychain carry.
It is clearly a very practical effective carry method, but it's just not for me.
