Finger Lakes Region & Letchworth Park

These pictures are from my cell phone. My Wife has the good ones on her big Canon camera. I will try to post some of those when she is done editing:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Btw, I don't remember you modding your 9. I'm sure you did it years ago, and I'm just getting around to noticing it, haha.

I grew up in upstate NY and I’ve wandered around in Letchworth on more than one occasion. It’s beautiful up there. Now I live in a town with a max elevation of 14’. I miss the hills.

Nice trip pics.

Creaky I grew up in the swamps of Florida. Once I saw my first mountain I had an overwhelming desire to climb it. I haven't stopped climbing. The sheer size of them is humbling to me and puts me in my place on this planet. Take a trip back to the mountains Creaky It's good for the Mind, Body, and Soul

Actually we were just hiking in the hills of Western Maryland last week. And you are 100% right. Being in the mountains is good for the mind, body, and soul. The stress of real life just kinda falls away. This is Muddy Creek Falls, one of last week’s hikes.

It’s not Letchworth, but it’ll do. I’m still jealous lol.

For some reason this thread has got me reminiscing over spiedies, salt potatoes, and semi-dry reislings. Now I’m hungry. Lol

More wineries and cheese than Eastern Long Island for sure. I stopped at a road side BBQ rib joint a mile outta the Glen. The locals seemed to be gathered around it. Always a good sign. Grabbed two full racks, some baked beans, and salt taters.

People in downstate NY have no idea what spiedies are. I went to Binghamton University. Though that was 20+ years ago, I still remember them fondly.
