Happy New Year, all! I hope 2021 brings everyone much blessings and a bright change to the world.

Did you get your first 2021 knife yet? If so please share it here. Maybe you’ll inspire someone else.

Please, don’t forget to include Becker content. :)

I ordered a Hogue mini Ritter on New Year’s Eve and it just arrived. This is the version in what they are calling g-mascus...

Not much to say about it other than it is built incredibly well, feels very solid, and the action is smooth. IMO, Hogue makes a better griptilian than Benchmade (and they make a fine product too). Also IMO, the Hogue full sized Ritter in black is one of the closest folders I own to being a Becker. It’s priced and made well.

BK24 and other grips for scale...

I would highly recommend this knife.

Got myself a mini Ritter made by hogue a while back again as well. I follow your opinion 100%. A beast, very good materials especially at that price. And boy do they come sharp!

I'm about to pull the trigger on a remora...

I ordered a bk9 spare and a bk3 spare. The bk9 will be at home while the other is at the cabin and the bk3 will go in my second car. I like having that in the car with me.

Also ordered on New Year’s Eve, the BHQ exclusive Bugout in 20cv arrived today...

I really like the Bugout, it is kind of the opposite of a Becker (very light with a thin slicey blade). These were steeply discounted, this version features g10 scales and an upgraded 20cv blade. Both are going to get customized (one will wear micarta and the other titanium).

Pic with the BK24 and it’s FRN scaled brother...

Waiting on a BK9 and Blackout BOB Fieldcraft 3.5, now that was a mouthful lol. Should be here this week, just watching out the window incase it comes early.....yeah right will be happy just to get it by the delivery date.

So looks like I did get one early. I placed the order for both on Jan 1st. I got the notification and tracking info for the BOB on the 4th and had not heard anything for the BK9. On the 5th i got the tracking number for the BK9 but not scheduled for delivery. WAM BAM....I pull up the tracking number up early this morning to see it was scheduled for today. Well now I will let the pic speak for itself. 1st knife of 2021!!!

Also a little smaller than I thought it would be....perfection!!!

Received my composite blade dividend the other the day. Its my first dividend and i must say when i first held it i was iffy for similar reasons i dislike the leek. But im starting to really like it with use. It might be the first blade i bought that the blade itself was so pretty that i dont want it to get scuffed up. For that reason im making it my work knife.

I ordered today some extended scales for my bk24. It took me a couple days to convince myself not the buy the plain black.

Pictures to come once the scales arrive.

The two white ones have a nice, classy look.
I don't have an "official" Benchmade, but my edc HK folder was made by them, with the same lock. Very secure, I like that knife Alot.

The Bugout is my clip it in my pocket and it disappears carry. I carry it often. It’s usually on me when I walk my dog.

where abouts are you - I may be able to point you near someone in your area who could help you get started.
like everything else, it doesn't have to be expensive to start out.
