Well, I finally broke down & got me a Dremel Tool. Had it about 1 hr & finished the mod. I LOVE this thing. Should have got one a long time ago. Anyway, I am sure proud of the way it came out. It looks factory to me. No big deal to some of you guys i'm sure. But i think it's awesome. Gives me a LOT of options to modify things now, not just knives. Here is some pics.

This one was expensive but it seems that most all things fit this model.

This is the 2 tools i used to make the choil. Grinder, course & fine sander drums. This is what they looked like after i was done. Not much wear at all. Probably get 3-4 more choils out of them.

I used an old perscription bottle & a pencil to mark the choil line. Also had a spray bottle of water & stopped about every 10 seconds or so to cool it off.

Hope you enjoyed. Many more mods to come. Edge is nice & flat for fire steel too.

Bottom of bottle is slightly larger than a quarter. I traced around it, so circle was bigger yet. It is about 1 1/8"-1 3/16" in diameter. Fits my finger with room to spare, but i have small hands/fingers. I could probably even wear a tight fitting glove. Hope this helps.

I am a fan, I have seen a few people do a choil but it always seemed on the small side, yours looks perfect to me.

Thanks everyone. I will be doing much more to my total collection. I'm even going to choil my 2 Ontario machete's, a 12" & an 18" sawback.
