So I have lately been into kayaking and I think it's time for a more fishing oriented model. We have 2 now ( a Future Beach Fusion 124 and a Sundolphin Aruba). The Fusion is mine and I like it very much. It's easily maneuverable for this newb and fast enough that it doesn't take an hour to get across the lake. I bought the Sundolphin because my wife wanted to be able to be on the water with me but she much prefers my Fusion. So my plan is to give her the Fusion and sell the Sundolphin and add to that to buy a fishing kayak. My tax return will be funding this so I am starting to do research now.

My criteria:
-10'+ (preferrably at least 11')
-Must be sit IN
-Rod holders (prefer flush mounts)
-Color unimportant
-At least one water tight compartment
-Not too heavy
-More maneuverable is better
-$500-550 price tag

Use it will see:
-Multiple fishing/relaxing outings per week on a large but relatively calm lake
-Occasional salt usage for fishing on Mangrove flats

I have been looking at the Future Beach Trophy 144 as I have been very happy with my Fusion and it looks like it would fit my needs. Also looking at some of the Field and Stream models at Dick's. any input or experiences with the ones I'm looking at is appreciated.

Anything from Jackson is great, I have a cuda and its perfect, They come in 12' and 14' and seem to fit your criteria really well altho a bit out of your budget, Id still take a look at Jacksons other models, Honestly the best Kayak you can buy for fishing!
