I want to start chopping wood more often, I ordered this axe and it should be here soon.

Do you guys have experience with Fiskars axes??

How does the handle hold up on it?? the company claims that its stronger than the standard hickory axe handle.

Also how does the steel and the edge hold up.

Is this the right place to post my axe questions?

I don't have any experience with fiskars axes but there are quite a few members who do. I'm sure they'll chime in. And YES! This IS the right place for your questions. In the meantime try searching inside the forum for fiskars and I'm sure you'll find some good info.

Yes!
I have what is now called the X25. When I bought mine, it was Fiskars' only "super splitting axe". it is about 28" long total. They didn't come out with the 36" version until years later - but I'm pretty sure its the same exact axe head, just with a longer handle.
Anyways, I LOVE my fiskers splitting axe!!
I bought it in I think around 2010, and until we moved in 2014 probably split 20-25 cords of wood with it. And since that time have probably split another 5 cords just helping out friends from time to time. Since I bought it I've done NOTHING to it. Given it zero care other than putting it back in the shed when done using it. never sharpened it or even thought about it. never cleaned it or oiled it or anything. I've smacked the handle HARD many many times, and even pounded on the poll occasionally with a sledge hammer.
Other than being dirty, it is essentially still in perfect condition. edge is still pretty sharp and no dents or cracks or damage to the handle at all. When I bought it I thought that it might last me a couple years, but never for a minute thought that the handle as actually indestructible - but now am thinking that it might be pretty close. The head is still rock solid on the handle.
And it splits REALLY well. I've never actually weighed it, so I don't know how much the head weighs - maybe 5lbs or so? its way easier to swing than my old faithful 8lb maul. Huge fan of the Fiskars. I don't own any of their other products, and probably wouldn't choose one of their chopping axes over my vintage american axes - but the super splitting axe is certainly awesome.
Here it is today, in its still completely zero maintenance condition

I have the x27 and it is a fine tool for splitting wood, not an especially hard edge, I’ve nicked mine and it still does fine.

I have one of the chopping axes, it's as good as they claim.
Hard enough, handles fine, cuts and splits beautifully.
