Does anyone know where I can find, or who can make me a deep carry pocket clip for my Klarus XT2C flashlight? Thanks!

There is a company that makes stick on clips for guns. I’ll try to find the info.

clip draw. Great product

They look promising! I sent them an email. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to remember to update this thread once I hear back from them.

They got back to me already!

HI David,

Our Universal could be a good option for you. We have had customers use it on flashlights, however you will need to check if you have adequate mounting space on your flashlight to make it work.

You would need 3" x 1/4" of flat mounting space (can go over top of serrations) to properly mount the Clip.

My flashlight has a 1.5" tailpiece that unscrews, with about 1" of space that I could reasonably use. I figure, if I file down a 1/4" wide flat on the tailpiece, cut the mounting plate and tape down to 1", then hit the flat with alcohol or acetone, bend the clip in slightly as needed, I should end up with a good result. I am not worried about doing this because a flashlight weighs an awful lot less than a pistol! I currently have 1 3/32" sticking out of my pocket, and this will take that down to just over 1/2". I placed the order. I'll update with pics once it's done. Thanks again eveled!

No problem glad it will work for you.

Just be aware it’s a straight clip. No dip at the end to grip your pocket. But it’s a very sturdy design and the tape it wicked strong.

Be sure to post pictures when you are done.

The Klarus website shows a few models with deep carry pocket clips. You might try to email them and ask if you could purchase a clip seperately. Although for the price of shipping from China you might just purchase a model with a deep carry clip and keep the second flashlight for a backup or car flashlight.... or just buy a different flashlight with the setup you want and use your Klarus as a backup or in-car flashlight.

Thanks for weighing in S Scott321 !

I took a look some other lights that interested me, but I already have a bunch of accessories for my Fenix PD35 - which died on me after a few years of use, and the Klarus has been a perfect replacement for it. It's great for killing pesky flies, and useful on the daily cycle commute, as well as general edc lighting needs. It even has the same size bezel as my old Fenix light, so I can still use my filters and traffic wand, and I already have the 18650s and chargers, plus some backup RCR23s, so this extra clip will fit the bill for now. Eventually, I might get the Olight M2R or M2T. The only thing holding me back - aside from justifying the expense - is the metal tail switch instead of a rubber one. I have always liked rubber tail switches and never tried a metal one, so I don't know. And where I live I am not aware of a store that I can go to and try one on for size. So like most of my knife purchases, it will be a leap of faith if I do decide to get it. But I am confident I'll be happy with the Klarus and clipdraw for some time.

Did you see if the Klarus components are compatible with your Fenix? You might be able to mix and match to get the clip to work, e.g. taking the head off of one and putting it on another. Additionally, Cabelas (and therefore possibly Great Bass Outdoors) usually has a good selection of Streamlight flashlights if you want to see them in person.

Edit: Oops... I thought I read that you were in St. Paul, MN, but now see you are in Canada. Good luck with your search! I'll just add that I've been using an Eagletac Clicky Ti for years and the AA and CR123 versions have a deep carry clip (and can both take Li rechargeable batteries).

I tried that and they are not compatible threads. But I ordered a clipdraw, so the search is likely over. Thanks again.

I was wrong. The clipdraw did not work for this purpose. Live and learn.

No way man, it is not your fault at all, and I certainly didn't mean to imply it was. I looked at the product myself, and came to the conclusion on my own that it would work, but I didn't factor a couple things in, and that is entirely on me.
