Flavored toothpicks like this are something I've not previously considered.

I don't floss at work and, rarely use a toothpick. This might be just the trick I need keep my breath fresh and teeth clean.

Thanks!

Think I'll just stick to floss, thanks .....

I don't think they are meant to replace floss. They are "chewing sticks". For those that like to keep a toothpick in their mouth. The essential oils are a plus because they taste good and keep your breath smelling good. Of course, because they are toothpicks, they can pick small particles of food from between your teeth.

Good quality wood won't splinter too bad but, in all honesty that is something to consider if you constantly chew on toothpicks, pencils, etc.

I vaguely remember reading about a famous band leader that died from a perforated colon due to chewing on toothpicks. This does seem to be pretty rare and pretty extreme but, might be something to consider.

Chasing your gum line with a toothpick can do wonders for bad breath and good dental health.

Ahh, I get it. Though it seems to me that splinters might be a problem. ;)

When they start to splinter, I just use a new one. :D

Try J&J's Stimudents as well. Basswood instead of Birchwood and they have a flat end and a pointed end for better cleaning capabilities. Mint ones are tasty. - Lee (wow, wat-a-topic!)

I used to make my own flavored toothpicks with some peppermint or cinnnamon extract. I just soaked them then let them dry. Worked pretty good.

Got some of these toothpicks the other day. Good stuff! Once the flavor washes out, gently biting the toothpick brings out more, and it lasts a looong time that way.
