Anyone use either one of these? I think that Christo-Lube is what CRK uses as their fluorinated grease tubes, but wondering if DuPont Krytox is any better or roughly the same as a lube grease. Found a few places that sell 2 ounce (56 grams) tubes of Krytox GPL-205 or Christo-Lube MCG-111 for about $30 each.... these are the specific products of each brand that would be applicable to our folder needs. Those amounts are enough to last a lifetime for all my knives and whatever else that needs a little high quality lube.

I'm using Krytox GPL-205 that I bought on E-Bay.

I've found it to be as good, if not better than, the grease that Chris Reeve sells.

I like it better in a syringe too (since the Chris Reeve stuff comes in a tube now).

I use a grease from Finish Line called Extreme Fluoro. A 20g syringe is around $10 in a good cycling store or at Amazon. It works beautifully, and will likely last for years.

I think most of them will work similar, how much of a true difference can they really make?
