Folder w/ checkered Blackwood & koa inlays

Here's the latest folder out of my shop. I think this is only the 10th folder I've made. I really like the contrast of the scales.

W2 steel blade
3 3/16" blade, 4" closed
Blackwood scales with hand checkeredbolsters and curly koa inlays
Bronze hand filed backspacer
Jeweled titanium liners

Funny, I liked this when Coop posted it on Instagram, but having only seen it on my phone's little screen I assumed that the black around the (beautiful!) koa was CNCed aluminum or something! I like wood on wood so much better with the hamon on that blade, doubly well done!

Nope.....just ultra smooth...on bronze washers.
