It’s one of those pieces that looks just as good in your hand as it does on the shelf—basically checks both the showpiece and EDC boxes, depending on how you roll.
Materials:
Handle: Crystallized titanium scales. It gives off this shimmer in the light, kind of like oil on water, but classier. The whole construction is titanium too, so it’s super light without feeling flimsy.
Blade: Damasteel® DS93X™, with that Raindrop pattern. For anyone into their blade steels, you’ll know this mix (RWL 34™ + PMC 27™) is no joke. Edge retention? Solid. Corrosion resistance? Absolutely there. Plus, the finish on this thing—grinding, etching, and polishing—makes the pattern pop like crazy.
Blade Shape:
Profile: Spear point—clean, balanced, and versatile.
Bevels: Straight, with a plain cutting edge sharpened on one side. It’s a subtle little detail, but it works.
This knife flips open with a flipper tab and ceramic bearings, and let me tell you—it’s buttery. Zero hiccups, no gritty feeling, just smooth deployment every time.
Lock: Standard liner lock, but it’s stainless steel and clicks into place tight. No blade play at all.
Would love to hear what you all think! Anyone else have experience with crystallized titanium scales or this particular Damasteel?
